Before your child starts with us we offer a gradual settling in process. This is tailored to each individual family and will be discussed with you prior to you child starting. We always offer a pre-start visit where you will meet your key person and complete a care plan.
Key Person
We recognise the importance of your child having a key person who is familiar to them.
Some of your child’s key person’s responsibilities are:
- Introducing your child to their room and supporting both children and parents through the settling process
- Settling your child upon arrival to Acorns, providing daily feedback to parents/carers
- Completing observations and paperwork, supporting new skills
